Horticultural Therapy
Supporting wellbeing through nature- and garden-based activities across all ages.
Nurturing Health and Healing Through Gardens
I offer both individual and group-based therapeutic horticultural sessions tailored across the lifespan—from early childhood through to older age.
Whether you're seeking a calming, sensory-rich activity for a child, a meaningful routine for an adult, or restorative engagement for an older person, these sessions are designed to meet your unique needs.

Why Horticultural Therapy?
When people engage with plants—digging, planting, nurturing—they are not only caring for the garden, but also tending to their own wellbeing.
These simple, hands-on interactions can lower stress levels, regulate emotions, and create a sense of purpose and achievement.
Working with nature provides structure, rhythm, and sensory engagement that can be especially beneficial for people with anxiety, depression, disability, or age-related changes.
It encourages mindfulness, creativity, and social connection—fostering not just personal growth, but a renewed sense of belonging and joy.

Who It's For

🌱Children with sensory or emotional regulation needs
🌱Adults seeking stress relief and reconnection

Professional Care, Naturally Delivered
With a deep understanding of clinical care and health promotion, I ensure every session is safe, inclusive, and meaningful.
My nursing background and current AHPRA registration allows me to integrate horticultural therapy into broader care plans, working alongside families, educators, allied health professionals, or aged care providers.
Green Spaces as Prescribed Wellness
Nature is more than a backdrop—it is an active part of the healing process.
Gardens invite us to slow down, notice the seasons, celebrate growth, and feel inspired.
Through gentle routine and connection with living things, people often rediscover joy, creativity, and confidence.
Growing Together
If you or someone you care for could benefit from engaging with nature in a supportive, therapeutic way, I’d love to talk.
Together, we can cultivate health, connection, and purpose—one plant, one session, one garden at a time.

Funding is available for eligible participants through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Do you provide sessions at residential aged care or inpatient facilities?
Yes. As a Registered Nurse with 18 years of clinical experience, I am well-equipped to deliver Horticultural Therapy sessions within residential aged care settings and inpatient facilities.
I understand the importance of safety, dignity, and meaningful engagement for older adults and individuals with complex health needs.
Sessions are tailored to suit the physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities of participants and can be adapted for both group and individual formats.
I collaborate with facility staff to ensure therapy aligns with care plans, policies, and therapeutic goals, creating a safe and uplifting experience for residents or patients.
In addition, I provide outcomes reporting and case notes to support care documentation, progress tracking, and multidisciplinary team communication.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I hold both Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance to ensure safe, accountable, and fully covered service delivery.
This provides peace of mind for individuals, families, and organisations engaging my Horticultural Therapy services—whether sessions are delivered in homes, schools, aged care, inpatient facilities, or community settings.
My practice also adheres to current health and safety standards, including risk assessment and duty of care responsibilities.
Are you registered and have a working with children clearance?
Yes. I am a Registered Nurse, fully registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
I also hold a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check, allowing me to safely and legally work with children, young people, and vulnerable individuals across a range of settings.
My services meet all professional and safeguarding requirements for work in schools, NDIS settings, aged care, and the broader community.
What's the next steps?
First, when you reach out to me, I’ll get in contact to have a friendly chat—either online or over a cuppa—to understand your needs, or those of your loved one or clients.
I’ll then send you a short questionnaire to complete. This helps me tailor your program and session activities to suit your individual goals, interests, and support needs.
The form includes information about your health, mindset, mobility, sensory needs, and any allergies—so I can ensure sessions are both safe and meaningful.
Once your personalised program is created, we’ll book in a time for your sessions and get started.
Session packages start at a minimum of four sessions, with flexibility around location, group or individual format, and pacing.
My goal is to make this process easy, supportive, and centred around what brings you joy, connection, and wellbeing through nature.
